Establishment of the PFH Safety Leadership Team

In January 2017 Pacific Fuel Haul held its first safety leadership team meeting. Health and safety reps from across the country were elected into the team along with several support staff. The purpose of the safety leadership team is to meet quarterly to review our safety performance, policies, find solutions to safety concerns raised by staff and to help guide the company in its goal of achieving sustainable zero harm in the workplace.

The first meeting was extremely positive with some great ideas and feedback provided by all. The team is currently working on a project to reduce the size of the driver handbook to ensure this is a more effective resource for drivers when referencing safety and operational procedures. The team plan to meet again in May and we will keep you posted on our progress.
