Professional Driving earns trust and confidence

The trust and confidence we have for a pilot flying a plane is the same attitude the public and our clients should have for our drivers, says Matt Horan, PFH General Manager.

“The public and our clients expect tanker drivers to be the best of the best,” explains Matt. “They’re entrusted with delivering a very dangerous load safely and without error.”

The public and our clients measure our driver professionalism on three main things – safe driving such as no speeding and road courtesy, no errors such as mixing fuel, and no damage to vehicles or assets.

“When we don’t meet these requirements as a minimum there will be incidents which put the public and assets at serious risk,” says Matt.

“While PFH as a company can put in place the best driver training programmes and safety systems, it is the driver that the public see and who represents the company.
