June 2017 Newsletter

Hi all,

We have six new MAN 8x4 Tractor units either being commissioned or nearing completion in New Plymouth at present. These are going into our LPG fleet and also Petroleum fleet and they’re looking very smart!

It’s great to see also Contact Energy putting two new Quad Tankers behind these new Tractor units.

These units are carting LPG between Taranaki and Auckland.

There’s a Large amount of training happening at present with condensate drivers being trained in all aspects of LPG loading and delivery. We have seen a large increase in LPG volume being distributed.

I have also enjoyed being involved in “The One PFH” meetings around the country and engaging in Performance Conversations.

Since our last Newsletter the Government released its 2017 Budget. Hopefully you and your families all benefited from it. The Transport Portfolio was allocated $1.8 Billion. $812million of this was for reinstatement of State Highway 1 North and South of Kaikoura. Also as part of this a further $50million was given to Kiwi rail so they could survive!!!
